Henry and The Monsters by Haziq Annuar Ittifaq

Henry was excited when he heard, "Good afternoon, passengers. Today, we are heading to the safe zone which is 70 kilometres from here."

Henry was finally calmed and relieved to know that he would be safe at the zone. The world had been infected by a virus that caused everyone to become flesh-eating monster. Henry was riding a bus that was taking victims to the safe zone.

The weather was gloomy and cloudy that time. Henry was very excited that it made him awake all the way. Henry was pondering on his journey until the bus came to a halt out of sudden. Henry was furious because the immediate stop made him hit his forehead on the bus chair in front of him. He looked out of the window and saw a horde of monsters approaching them. He was terrified by the scene.
He began thinking that he would not make it to the safe zone on time. He then went out of control and took a machete. With no hesitation, he rushed to the monsters even though the people in the bus were trying their best to stop him doing it but to no avail. He was too strong. He sliced off every single monster to pieces until there was no more to be seen. Henry then gained his sanity back and started walking towards the bus. Those people in the bus were stunned by the view that Henry was drenched in blood.
After everything seemed okay, the bus finally started moving again. Henry was thanked profusely for his bold act, fighting and killing all the monsters. After an hour, they finally arrived at their destination and got off the bus except Henry. Henry was sitting at his seat quietly and this made the bus driver feel curious of his condition.
"Are you okay, young man? We're here." The bus driver walked slowly to the back of the bus after he realised his question was not replied by Henry. Feeling petrified, the bus driver let out a scream when he saw there was a bite mark on Henry's hand. Henry stared at him, smiling. The bus driver tried to run away but it was too late already.
